SpheroScan Explorer

The SpheroScan Explorer is a mature measurement platform designed for both laboratory and production-related environments. It bridges the gap between exploratory laboratory analysis and application-oriented process measurement.

Like all SpheroScan systems, the Explorer uses freely moving microbeads as active biosensors. These sensor beads interact directly with the sample and selectively bind to their respective targets. This approach can significantly reduce the need for extensive sample preparation and enables measurement results within minutes.

The SpheroScan Explorer is a semi-automated system with manual sample loading, offering a high degree of flexibility for method development, assay optimization, and application-specific investigations. An extension for fully automated measurement and process integration is currently in development.
