Axiom Insights was founded in 2019 as a spin-off from the University of Hamburg and the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg, one of the world's leading accelerator centers.

Axiom Insights conducts advanced X-Ray Fluorescence Imaging (XFI) services delivering quantitative, multi-scale pharmacokinetic and cell-tracking data for pharma, biotech & life sciences R&D teams requiring precise biodistribution analysis of small molecules and cell therapies.

Our technology enables the simultaneous tracking of multiple targets with high sensitivity and spatial resolution, without depth limitations.

Unlike mass spectrometry or histology, Axiom’s technique is non-invasive. In addition, our XFI markers are non-radioactive, allowing Axiom Insights to actively support the 3R principles (Replace, Reduce, Refine animal testing).

Our interdisciplinary team of XFI engineers, physicists, biochemists, and biomedical modelers is based in Hamburg, Germany.
